Tell us more about your trip! I always thought only South-east Asian countries has got large numbers of Hokkien speaking people, and it seems like Australia (some parts maybe) are like that too!
it's more of a curlture xchange progm . the ch in melbourne invited us over n it's the 1st time they invited taiwanese opera.we will b wrking wif sum of the ang mo crew for the mu hou.
juan: actually she's not wrong what! I believe other Chinese opera genres had gone to Australia for performance before, but for Taiwanese (Hokkien) opera, it is the first time. The term "Taiwanese opera" is to reflect the genre of the opera only, why get so worked up?
